In 2020, we planted trees with One Tree Planted

Why supporting reforestation?

First, trees absorb carbon and regulate the climate, they clean the air.

It also filters the water while providing habitat to over 80% of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity.

Planting trees provide jobs and support local communities all around the world.

We are so grateful for being able to contribute to this, and YOUR support makes it possible, it means a lot to us!!! Thank you

We supported The Ocean Cleanup in 2021

What’s the problem with plastic pollution in the ocean?

The Ocean Cleanup is a non-profit organization developing technologies to remove plastic from rivers and oceans.

Due to human activities, million tones of plastic ended up in the ocean each year.

First, you must know that plastic never disappears, it breaks down into microplastics which pollute everything from water to the fish you eat. Not to mention that billions of people depend on fish as their main source of protein and income.

More and more animals are found dead on the beach because of their stomach full of plastic.

The oceans absorb nearly 30% of global carbon emissions therefore we must ensure they stay healthy.

We did the same in 2022!

We absolutely love the Ocean Cleanup work that’s why we wanted to show them our support once again :)

In 2023, we saved coral reefs…

When hearing about Coral Gardeners, we couldn’t think of a better charity to support this year. Here is why:

Coral Gardeners is a charity dedicated to planting and restoring coral reefs worldwide. They empower local communities to become ocean gardeners and join this global mission.

In addition, the organization plays a crutial role in educating and raising awareness on ocean conservation to address climate change. By inspiring island residents and people around the world, they ensure the ocean will never be overlooked!

Coral reefs are suffering due to global warming, polluted waters and overfishing, but did you know they are extremely important to the health of the ocean and our planet?

First, they provide food and shelter to many marine species, which are then consumed by larger species - humans. Approximately 40% of the global population relies on fish as a key source of animal protein.

Coral reefs act as natural water filters absorbing particles and making our water and beaches clean.

The flow of water is also controlled by corals reefs, protecting coastlines from waves and strong currents.

Finally, corals play a role in managing CO₂ levels in the ocean. Through various mechanisms, they capture, release, and accumulate carbon, contributing to climate balance.

How you can easily help protect corals:

  • choose reef-safe sunscreen when going in water

  • practice responsible tourism

  • reduce plastic use and water pollution

  • choose sustainably sourced seafood

  • educate yourself and others
