Founded in March 2020, Under the Sun came from the idea of offering a never-ending summer at the beach. Céline, the founder, came back from Australia with the need of an ocean reminder she could carry with her everyday and making jewellery with shells she collected while travelling came as an evidence.
Being aware that our Mama Earth is already suffering from over-consumption and production, using pre-loved treasures was the only way she wanted to do her small business.
Sustainability
The main goal at Under the Sun is to have the smallest impact on our precious Planet. We are constantly trying to find the best alternatives to make sure we do not harm Her. Here are some actions we take to respect our values:
☼ Our pearls and beads are ALL second-hand
☼ We use recycled silver materials
☼ The wax and shells from our candles are second-hand
☼ We give 1$ with every purchase to an organization protecting the ocean. Visit the Donate section to learn more
☼ We use paper confetti handmade by us to fill your parcel with lots of love and ocean vibes
☼ Our stickers are eco-friendly (Greenguard Gold Certified)
☼ Finally, we encourage shopping mindfully with fair prices and a made-to-order system to avoid any waste.
